The AI Assistant on Web: Work from your browser
Moveworks began in enterprise chat apps, meeting employees where they already worked. Now, with the AI Assistant on Web, we meet them wherever work begins. The browser is today’s destination for productivity, and the Assistant can meet employees there too.
AI Assistant on Web further eliminates context switching, reduces tool fatigue, and gives every employee a powerful starting point for every task. Here’s what it can do:
- Threads, with separate chats to retain context for requests and make it easier to revisit previous interactions.
- Inline citations to ground every answer in your enterprise’s unique context.
- Notifications panel to make approvals, reminders, and ambient agents easier to track.
With even more capabilities coming soon:
- A Source Selector will filter results across content systems like Confluence, Google Drive, SharePoint, and more.
- Streaming responses will be able to show reasoning in real time for increased transparency and trust.

As enterprise AI matures, breadth alone isn’t enough. Leaders now want more control and more depth, with assistants that deeply understand specific functions and processes. Moveworks is excited to introduce our vision for Specialized Assistants: Purpose-built AI Assistants, trained to excel within domains like sales, recruiting, customer success, and more, coming in early 2026.
Think of it this way — while your Moveworks AI Assistant acts as a universal authority across your company’s data and systems, Specialized Assistants will drill deep into the complex workflows that keep your business moving.
With Assistant Builder, employees will be able to create powerful, no-code assistants to solve those tedious, everyday time-sucks that they understand best.
To start, you simply describe a purpose for your assistant in a few quick sentences. Moveworks then generates a system prompt that includes a few content sources and tools that map to your desired goal.
The real magic? Specialized Assistants are being built on top of Moveworks’ vast ecosystem of connectors and plugins and are orchestrated by our Reasoning Engine.
Specialized Assistants will be able to be customized for virtually any domain or business process using one or all of these factors:
- Content scoping: Select specific sources of internal or external information or upload files.
- Tool (plugin) scoping: Select from hundreds of pre-built plugins from our AI Agent Marketplace, or create your own.
- User scoping: Define which users or teams have access.
- Prompt adjustment: Easily tune our suggested LLM instructions to optimize Assistant behavior.
The most useful Specialized Assistants can then be published by admins in your organization’s Assistant Store — a curated destination built by your employees for your employees, unique to your organization.
