Front door to work
Moveworks brings siloed systems into one seamless experience, so employees don’t need to think in terms of apps, portals, or forms. They just state intent in their language of choice; the Assistant reasons across data and systems, acts within guardrails, and closes the loop. In 2025, Moveworks processed 300M+ agentic interactions for 5.5M+ employees across the world in 75+ languages.
Weekly user engagement in AI Assistant increased by 3× over the year
With all these agentic interactions, Moveworks Assistant cut through departmental silos, opening the door to work for employees in every role. We saw adoption widen across critical functions like Strategic Leaders (9%), Compliance Staff (9%), Product & Marketing (8%), and HR & Sales Teams (6%). This, coupled with strong representation from Engineering (12%) and Finance & Operations (12%), highlights a unified workforce where every department — from the back office to the boardroom — using AI assistant to act and resolve. Crucially, this reach now extends far beyond the desk: this year, adoption of Moveworks products by Healthcare, Hospitality and Frontline workers surged by 60x compared to last year, indicating that the industry leaders recognize that the Enterprise Assistants open the door for everyone.
Additionally with the recent launch of our Assistant on Web and embedded agents, it is further allowing users to directly engage with Assistant where they are. 40% of our customer base have already integrated and started to use our newly launched Web Assistant.
AI that gets work done
While the user base is diverse — their needs are universally cross-functional. From the data it is evident that employee’s role didn't dictate their questions and their needs go well beyond IT issues. This year, we saw growing engagement in user issues for HR, Finance, Facility and various other Enterprise operations domains like Business applications, Engineering, Sales etc.
For Moveworks, action means more than search or synthesis. It means reasoning, automation, and adaptation across systems and teams with speed and compliance built in. In 2025, we've seen wide range of action intents from users for managing and provisioning accounts, infra, benefits etc. across different business domains. Here's a glimpse into how employees leveraged Moveworks this year across different domains.
A Year of Action: Consequently, the Moveworks Assistant executed over 10+ million actions on behalf of users this year, freeing them from mundane, repetitive tasks and allowing them to focus on what matters most.
Proactive Support: We're not just waiting for employees to ask for help. This year, Moveworks proactively engaged 5.5+ million users with over 165+ million notifications, ensuring timely support reached them before they even knew they needed it. While 37% of these were strategic Enterprise Communications, the Assistant also drove momentum through the Ticket Concierge (36%) and Approval notifications (14%) streamlining approvals in HR, Purchase, Procurement etc. Furthermore, with the rise of Ambient Agents, we saw surge in system triggered notifications, allowing the AI to detect external events and guide employees to a resolution instantly.
Productivity: This year we also launched a new suite of Agents (Quick GPT + Brief Me) to enhance enterprise-wide productivity to the next level by synthesizing information and creating content within the Moveworks AI Assistant. Early adopters showed sustained engagement with 5+ questions per session, demonstrating that these agents are quickly becoming essential companions for their daily workflow.
Triage: Our Triage product helped to autonomously categorize and route 500k+ tickets to ensure that they reach the service desk team best equipped to resolve the issue.
Work, Flows: The Engine of a Growing Ecosystem
Moveworks amplifies what organizations do by changing how effectively they do it. This year, our ecosystem has flourished, with a new generation of builders creating and sharing solutions.
- The Rise of the Corporate Developer: We've seen an incredible surge in innovation from our user community. In fact, our developer base more than doubled this year, building over 10k+ agents through our Agent Studio. These agents are being put to work instantly — usage of these custom, enterprise-specific agents grew 65% faster than our native search and action plugins, signalling a major shift toward builder-led automation.
- A Thriving Marketplace: The spirit of collaboration is strong, with over 1,100+ plugin templates downloaded from our AI Agent Marketplace. This shared innovation is helping organizations of all sizes to customize and extend the power of Moveworks.
What shifted in 2025
From portals to a single, enterprise-wide front door: Adoption has shifted from siloed forms to the AI Assistant surfaces where work actually happens. Crucially, this front door is no longer just for IT; it has become the central hub for HR, Finance, and Operations, proving that a single interface can successfully resolve complexity across the entire enterprise.
From questions to outcomes: Search became the starting line, not the finish line - actions closed the loop.
From workflows to work, flowing: Proactivity became the norm. By shifting from reactive tickets to ambient signals and proactive notifications, we removed the friction of waiting, eliminated handoffs, and accelerated time‑to‑done.
Looking ahead
In 2026, we’ll keep raising the bar on action. The momentum from the past year has set the stage for a workplace where AI is not just a tool, but a proactive partner.
- More Agents, More Action: We are expanding our Ambient Agent capabilities and a richer library of out-of-the-box agents in the Marketplace. Teams will be able to deploy sophisticated, pre-built capabilities in minutes, making proactivity the default state of enterprise work.
- Measuring What Matters: To help organizations scale with confidence, we are rolling out richer observability analytics tools like Value Insights. Leaders will gain deeper visibility into agent performance, allowing them to not just measure impact, but multiply it across the business.
- Continuous Innovation: We push for continuous innovation. We recently announced a suite of powerful capabilities that will define the year ahead and give our customers the tools to build their own future:
- Specialized Assistants: We are introducing specialized, expert AI agents tailored for specific domains, ensuring deep subject-matter expertise.
- No-Code Assistant Builder: Innovation belongs to everyone. We are empowering teams to architect and customize powerful AI Assistants without writing a single line of code.
- Conversations API: AI assistance is becoming omnipresent. Conversations API allows developers to embed Moveworks into any application, website, or portal, meeting users exactly where they work.
- Enterprise Search: We are reimagining search as a powerful new interface. By leveraging a superior reasoning engine, employees can now find and synthesize information across all business systems with unprecedented accuracy.
