AI agent hackathon london

Moveworks is bringing the capability of its Ambient agents to developers and builders globally this October through a series of AI Agent Hackathons, from San Francisco to Bengaluru to London.

London has long been a hub for innovation, and this month, it became the latest stage for builders, developers, and agentic AI innovators to take the stage.

At London’s Chelsea Football Club, teams from across Europe and the world came together to build Ambient agents – AI agents that act, silently listening to signals from business systems to spring into action when it’s time and drive work forward. For one day, the stands that usually echo with cheers became home to something different: collaboration, creativity, and competition.

It was inspiring to see teams turn ideas into working solutions over the course of the day. Despite the limited time the teams were able to produce impressive solutions, ranging from agents that are able to suggest PTO days to simplifying desk booking for hybrid workers to instantly alerting IT to device issues.

Winning Hackathon Solutions

As developers from across Europe and the world came together they created many new use cases for ambient agents in action, and turned these ideas into practical automations. The projects showcased the community’s mix of creativity and technical depth to solve real business challenges their organizations face.

Grand Prize

Morgan Stanley: Recommending PTO to high-balance employees

As the year wraps up, many employees realize too late that they’ve built up unused PTO. Mitchell McKenzie from Morgan Stanley built an Ambient AI agent that prevents that scramble by scanning for employees with high PTO balances, checking their calendars, and proactively suggesting quiet days to take off. It’s a simple but powerful way to help people recharge while staying compliant with company policy.

Honorable Mentions

SkyScanner: Automating hybrid employee desk booking

Hybrid work has made desk booking complex. Tetiana Chenska and Andrew Hohenkirk built an intelligent agent that automates the process and minimizes the friction, using slot resolvers to find and reserve available desks by parsing through dozens of locations, buildings, and floors to make sure every employee has easy and fast access to a desk. No more back-and-forth with facilities, just a quick and smart booking experience.

Keysight: Automating remote device support

Device issues are one of IT’s biggest headaches, but many can be proactively prevented. Mirel Ivan from Keysight built an Ambient AI agent that is able to listen to Nexthink events and alerts device owners the moment a problem arises. It then evaluates the event details, compares them against available Remote Actions, and automatically runs the right one to fix the issue. This agent can powerfully reduces manual triage and helps keep employees productive, rather than troubleshooting.

From hackathon solutions to real impact

Congratulations to our Grand Prize winner and Honorable mentions!

But what truly stood out in London wasn’t just the innovation — it was the creativity. Teams arrived with bold ideas and real problems to solve, and left with working agents ready to make a tangible impact inside their organizations.

Next up: Bengaluru, join us on October 28th as we close out a month of AI Agent Hackathons.
